Freemasonry has been established as a secretive organisation, most probably because of its history of being heretical in the eyes of the Catholic Church. Unfortunately, the men involved have been subjected to the equivalent of schoolyard behaviour such as ‘I know something you don’t know’, ‘Please tell me what it is’, ‘I’ll only tell you what it is, if you promise not to say anything to anyone else’. So not only do they promise not to share the secrets, but they also promise to be prepared to have their hearts plucked out, their eyes plucked out, their hands cut off, and other horrific things.

What they are effectively saying is that ‘I am prepared to die for this organisation’. Freemasonry is protected by its oaths. These oaths vary according to the level and the rituals associated with them. In his book Unmasking Freemasonry: Removing the Hoodwink, Selwyn Stevens quoted a man who was a thirtieth-degree Mason and who had been convicted by the Holy Spirit to resign. He said:

The next thing which worried me was the question of Masonic oaths. I now recognize them as blood oaths, but even without that recognition if you just look at them word by word they are horrendous. They agree to a vile mutilation of the body indifferent ways as a penalty for revealing the secrets, before those secrets are even disclosed to the Initiate. This applies to every step in Masonry. You have to agree to the teachings before knowing what they are.

One thing of which I am sure is that if these men shared these things with their wives or mothers or sisters, they would be suitably embarrassed. Most women would be appalled by the barbarity of it. The fact that they are effectively changing the DNA of their family lines by speaking out these oaths which curse their bodies not just over themselves but over their descendants should make for some very disappointed and disillusioned relatives.

The reason I say changing the DNA is because a healthy bloodline can be polluted by the oaths that have been spoken which can then become things like hereditary diseases e.g. diabetes, glaucoma, heart disease to mention just a few.

Unfortunately, because of this secrecy, marriages break down, and children feel dislocated and detached. These men are effectively married to their lodge because of the pledges and the vows they make and because of the ring they wear, which is called the covenant ring. I perceive Sir Francis Bacon was largely responsible for the secrecy.

From an early age, Francis Bacon determined to follow a path of secrecy: to play a game of hide-and-seek by obscuring his works and himself in such a way that they were veiled from immediate sight or recognition and yet could be discovered by those who noticed the veil and learned how to lift it.

As a surrogate Solomon (Queen Elizabeth used to call him little Solomon), he adhered to the verse Proverbs 25:2, which says,

‘It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search a matter out.’

As Freemasons are considered to be kings and as he was the concealed son but legitimate heir of Queen Elizabeth I and a prospective king himself, he obviously saw nothing untoward in his hiddenness and secrecy because that was his life and all he had known. He was encouraging the kings in Freemasonry to seek out the mysteries he had hidden (e.g. the layers of Rosicrucian philosophies that were sub rosa—secret, hidden).

The problem is that very few men who become Masons ever truly know what they are involved in because very few attain the heights of the higher degrees. So instead, they wade around in the shallow waters but are just as affected by it through initiation and association. One of the sad things is the reverence with which all these ghastly rituals are carried out. A lot of them are cleverly crafted fables and legends that have no bearing on truth or fact and which border on being farcical. Such is the legend of Hiram Abiff in the third degree.

There are a few different philosophies which make up the toxic amalgam that is Freemasonry. It is a mixture of the Kabbalah, which is a form of Jewish mysticism; Rosicrucian philosophies, made up of Hermetic thought, which include transmutation, alchemy and the philosopher’s stone; and also Enochian magic. In the early levels, the pillars of the lodge are supposed to be the pillars of Solomon’s Temple and are called Boaz and Jachin.

In the higher degrees, they become the pillars of Enoch, who was revered because he was the initiate king of Atlantis. Enoch was a descendant of Adam, who pleased God so well that he didn’t die but was taken to heaven without seeing death (Heb. 11:5).

Dr John Dee, an associate of Sir Francis Bacon, tried to communicate with the spirits by using a scrying mirror, which yielded apparitions who supposedly gave them knowledge of the spirit world. God told the Israelites not to do this:

There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a  sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritualist, or one who calls up the dead. (Deut. 18:10-11)

The essence of Freemasonry is to be able to experience eternal life by bypassing the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ. I’m afraid it’s just never going to happen. No amount of consulting with demons, acting out being a high priest, having a blasphemous form of communion, or any amount of transmutation of the soul is going to admit anyone to higher levels of illumination that qualify them for heaven. There is only one way to the Father, and that is through His Son Jesus Christ, the anointed one.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. Anything else leads straight to hell. The idea that man can attain heaven through his own abilities is a devilish ploy to rob Jesus of His divinity and reduce Him to the level of human beings. In doing so, it not only demeans and blasphemes Him but also robs mankind of the power of God that is available to us through faith in Him. God sees us as righteous because Jesus paid the price for us to be able to have a relationship with God and also to be able to come into His presence.

The spiritual problem with Freemasonry is that it contends that the holy book of every religion is equal with every other religion’s holy book. Freemasonry actually denies the deity of Jesus Christ and intentionally downplays His role as our Saviour.  Freemasons claim that all deities are only different manifestations of the same god, which explains why they accept members from all religions. No true Christian could be a Mason because even though he may believe in the one true God in his heart, at Masonry’s altar, he must accept all his fellow Freemasons’ holy books as equal.

We only have access to God’s power through Him. Anything else is empowerment by the soul and added to by the strength of fallen angels and Satan and not the Spirit of God. Basically, Freemasons are dudded, and some very crafty but intelligent men have fabricated this elaborate hoax and haven’t just robbed themselves and their families but many generations of families. They have also robbed God of the family which He started with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

It’s curious that the Freemasons refer to Enoch, for in Jude 15, Enoch’s own words should convict them when he prophesied that:

God would execute judgement on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds, which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

1 Corinthians 1:18 says it very well:

The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it isthe very power of God. (NLT)

1 Cor.1:19-20 (NLT)

'I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and discard the intelligence of the intelligent.’ So where does this leave the philosophers, the scholars, the debaters?God has made the wisdom of the world look foolish.

Since God in His wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom. (1 Cor. 1:21, NLT)

Thankfully, though, through His gift of salvation, nothing can separate us from the love of God (Rom. 8:38–39) because Jesus has already paid the price for the mistakes we have made. I have found it a bit curious that most commentators say that Freemasonry is based on Solomon’s Temple. Yet I have found it intriguing that the supposed home of the Knights Templar and the beginning of Freemasonry at Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland was actually based on the dimensions of Herod’s Temple, and I have had difficulty reconciling the two. I think I may have stumbled across an explanation of the difference.

Sir Francis Bacon, who was party to the changes made to Freemasonry from Operative to Speculative, established that:

The nature of what he (Bacon) set up was equivalent to what was a school of Mysteries, which excludes those who are both either ready or able, but initiates those who are ready and who can ‘pierce the veil’. But it is not a school in the usual sense of the word, one, which has a particular location, curriculum and board of teachers.

Francis Bacon referred to the school that he was talking about as a temple—a temple of Solomon that is a temple of knowledge, a temple of light,  not a structure. This supposedly leads the candidate to higher levels of illumination. King James also pointedly referred to Bacon as Solomon. It was on the ideals of secrecy and illumination that Freemasonry was established.

Thomas Horn helps to answer my question in his book Apollyon Rising 2012, saying that Solomon’s Temple was ‘not just a temple of light but also significant in the actual layout of the Freemasonic temple’.

Each Lodge is a representative of the Jewish temple, every lower-degree Mason, a depiction of the Jewish workmen who built the temple, and every Master in the Chair, a representative of the Jewish King.
